Privacy Policy
Morphonic ("we", "our", or "us") is a personalized sound experience app operated by Azimuth Rising Inc. This policy explains what data we collect, why we keep it, and your rights over it. We keep your session history because that’s where your practice lives. It powers your streaks, sharpens your recommendations, and lets you come back to a session that worked. We never sell it, and you can delete everything from Settings at any time.

1. Data We Collect
Account
Your email address, collected when you create an account or sign in.
Session data
When you generate a session: your wellness goal (e.g. Focus, Relaxation, Sleep), the AI-generated session parameters (frequencies, breathing pattern, ambient sound, rationale), session duration, completion status, and any post-session feedback you provide (feeling + rating).
Preferences & streaks
Your wellness goals, daily email time, timezone, email opt-in status, which session is set as your active daily session, and current and longest streaks.
Reactions
Thumbs up / thumbs down responses on session previews, used to improve recommendations.
Reflections
Optional journal entries you write after a session. Free-text content that may include your thoughts about mood, focus, or how the practice felt. We store these so you can revisit your own practice over time. With your permission, we also use them to shape future session suggestions. You can turn this off in Settings.
Usage analytics
Anonymous page views and performance metrics, plus product analytics linked to your account to help us improve the service. On our website, we also count which buttons are tapped, such as the App Store link. Those counts use no cookies and are not linked to you or to your other visits. You can opt out of product analytics in Settings.
Email delivery status
Whether each email we send you was delivered, bounced, or was reported as spam, and when. We record this even with product analytics off, because we need it to keep email working and to stop mailing anyone who asks us to stop. We do not track whether you open our emails or which links you tap, and we do not record your IP address, your device, or your location.
2. Sensitive Data
We recognize that your emotional state input, wellness goals, session feedback, and post-session reflections constitute sensitive personal information. This data reflects your mental and emotional well-being, and we treat it with the highest level of care. We apply the same protections to this data as we do to all personal information, and in some cases, stricter safeguards. This data is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own purposes.
3. We Never Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, including your sensitive emotional and wellness data, to anyone, for any reason.
We do not use your data for advertising or profiling beyond delivering the Morphonic service.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To create your personalized Morph sessions (a soundscape with guided breathing) from the wellness goal you enter
- To send you occasional updates about Morphonic, such as new features and invitations to try them early. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve future session recommendations based on your history and feedback
- To sync your session history across devices when you’re signed in
- To track your streak and display progress milestones
- To improve the product through usage analytics
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate Morphonic. We only share the minimum data each service needs to perform its function. No third party receives your data for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
Hosting and infrastructure
We use cloud hosting and managed database providers to store your account and session data. Data is hosted in the United States.
Authentication
Sign-in is handled by a third-party authentication service using your email and password, or a one-time code sent to your email.
AI session generation
Your wellness goal and any notes you add are sent to an AI language model to generate session parameters. So are the session length you choose and your current streak. If you rated sessions in the past, a short summary of that history is sent too: which sound bands you rated highly and how often you finish sessions. Your name and email are not included, and your journal entries and reflections are not shared. The AI provider does not use these inputs to train their models, and your reflections remain private to your account.
Voice guidance
Guided voice cues are pre-recorded audio. They play from the app or stream from our file storage provider. No text is sent to a text-to-speech service.
Email delivery
Our emails (sign-in codes and occasional product updates) are sent through a third-party email delivery service. That service reports whether each email was delivered, bounced, or was reported as spam. It does not track opens or link taps.
Analytics
We collect anonymous page view and performance data, and product analytics linked to your account. On our website, we also count button taps without cookies and without linking them to you. You can opt out of product analytics in Settings.
Error monitoring
We use an error tracking service to detect and fix issues. Error reports may include technical context about what happened but do not contain your session content or personal data.

6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in across page visits. This is a strictly necessary cookie. It allows the app to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your session history, preferences, and feedback for as long as your account is active, because streaks, recommendations, and the ability to come back to a session that worked all depend on it. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data
- Deletion: delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Export: request a copy of your session history by contacting us
- Opt-out: unsubscribe from any type of email at any time via the link in that email or in Settings, or by contacting us. Sign-in emails are always sent.
- Personalization: use the setting in Settings to control whether your journal entries may help shape future sessions once that feature is available. They are not used to personalize sessions today.
- Correction: contact us to correct inaccurate data
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 9. Children
Morphonic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email and an in-app consent banner. You will be asked to review and accept the updated policy before continuing to use the service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
